Academics
Academic Programs
Texas Virtual Academy
- Eligibility : Students in grades K-2, and those in grades 3-12 who did not attend a public school in 2023-24.
- Format : Primarily asynchronous learning, allowing students to work at their own pace with recorded lessons.
- Live Sessions : Held twice daily for resource assistance and Q&A.
- Transfer Policy : Students in K-2 will transfer to Texas Connections Academy once they reach 3rd grade.
Texas Connections Academy
- Eligibility : Students in grades 3-12 who attended a Texas Public School (onsite or online) during the 2023-24 school year.
- Format : Online synchronous classes with real-time interaction between teachers and students.
- Transfer Policy : Students who complete one full semester may transfer to Texas Connections Academy.
AQI Subjects
- Core Subjects : Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies (AQI) are taught onsite by full-time instructors at Desoto House of Peace.
- Physical Education (PE) : Also offered onsite by dedicated instructors.
