Welcome to the Desoto House of Peace’s Mother’s Day Out program (MDO), a nurturing environment designed to prepare your little one for both school and life. Ideal for stay-at-home parents, part-time working parents, local professionals managing businesses from home, telecommuters, freelancers, and those not yet ready for full-time programs, our MDO initiative offers a valuable break for parents while fostering a rich learning and social experience for your child.
Me-Time Retreat : Our Mother’s Day Out program serves as a sanctuary for mothers and fathers, providing essential “me-time” within their busy schedules while ensuring their little ones continue to explore and socialize with their peers.

Schedule and Age Requirements
- Days : Families can choose either Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday
- Time : 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Age Group : Children ages 3–5 years who are fully toilet trained..
- Class Schedule : We use The Creative Curriculum® in addition to Montessori methodology, providing a hands-on, child-centered learning experience. The program includes early literacy, writing, math, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Qur’an, art, social-emotional development, and practical life skills.
- Daily Schedule: Structured learning, hands-on activities, indoor play, snack time, and bathroom breaks.
- Registration Fee: $100
- Supply Fee: $50
- Program Tuition: $275 per month
